„Čtyřválcová“ centrála BMW, složená z 2 304 prvků a vyrobená v Deggendorfu, vznikla na počátku 70. let jako dominanta Mnichova. V letech 2006/2007 byla společnost Dobler Metallbau pověřena modernizací fasád památkově chráněné výškové budovy a souvisejících nízkopodlažních budov.
